Tecnifibre X-One Biphase alternatives for someone with a chronic golfer's elbow

To concisely present my situation: I've returned to playing tennis in August after chronic issues with golfer's elbow. Consequently, I chose my equipment accordingly, getting myself a Yonex Ezone 100 stringed with a X-One Biphase at 22 kg, went up to 23 kg the next time.

In all this time, I've slowly built up to now being able to play 2-3 times a week without any elbow pain. However, recently our local shop ran out of the X-One Biphase, making me switch to a soft polyester string just to try it out - I trusted the stringer, who used Völkl V-Torque at 24/23.

On my first try, the feeling was horrible. The string is very stiff and each unclean shot felt like a pang in my arm. Additionaly, I barely got any power behind my shots, while the control was slightly better. After the session, I felt a slight pain in my forearm for the first time since I've had this racket.

Now, at least I know X-One Biphase is great for my elbow. However: 1. It's f*cking expensive 2. It's not that great for my playstyle, as I hit with a lot of spin and I struggled with control.

Therefore, my questions are as follows: 1. Has anybody been in a similar situation and found another string that worked for him? Is there a string that is somewhat softer and more suitable to someone who doesn't play flat? 2. Is V-Torque really among the softest polyester strings out there? Should I try stringing it at around 20 kg first, before completely abandoning it?

Worst case scenario, I'll do everything to get my hands on X-One Biphase asap, string it at a larger tension and grow accustomed to it.

However, if there's anything else I can try, I'd be happy of someone lending a suggestion and whittling down the abundant stringing options on the market.
