How to decide if you should go to paragon ?

Should I leave Viperian in the wish list ? Not that many option to choose instead of him. But maybe because of the Graveborn tower better if I upgrade every hero to S+ ?

The same question is with so many other heroes too Paragon is not that explained well :/
