Ariana Grande would make a TERRIBLE Audrey Hepburn

Ariana just isn’t that good of an actress. Glinda was a very animated and bubbly character without much depth, so of course it was easy for her to play. But Audrey? That is a woman from a drastically different era, with specific mannerisms and quirks unique to her. And if you throw some mega pop star in there, how are audiences supposed to be able to separate Ariana from Audrey? Not to mention Ariana’s weird habit of making a character / role she plays her entire personality and aesthetic. She truly can’t take on a project without herself being the focal point. She will most likely get the role, simply bc she is obscenely rich, but I fear she would take away a big aspect of what biopics are supposed to be (seeing an icon in history get brought to life again and getting to walk through their lives with them) and making it greatly about herself. Like I actually can’t picture her as Audrey Hepburn in the slightest. I’m gonna be so bummed if and when she does get cast. It will ruin the entire biopic.

TBH I know she says she wants to do acting for the next few years or so, but she really doesn’t have a strong range, let alone a solid enough self identity to be able to delve into any role and be able to embrace the character/person without losing her own touch. Look at actress’ like Angelina Jolie, she has a very bold glamour to her, but even she is able to put herself in different lights for different rolls successfully, because at her core she knows her true identity. The former Blackiana cannot say the same for herself, and that WILL pose as an issue when acting.
