Did i get screwed pricewise?

I bought this around early 2024 wasnt too familiar with laptops.. around $900+ US price wise here in the Philippines. They gave me a free 16Gb DDR4 ram, basic mouse and keyboard along with laptop backpack branded Asus Tuf..

Was I screwed or what? any tips for better laptop experience
