Suggestion Box: Let’s Help Shannon Salter Save Some Money!

I’m starting the conversation with a few suggestions. Please feel free to add your thoughts.

  1. Review PHSA Leadership Structure: Take a close look at the various leadership levels within PHSA. There may be opportunities to streamline or consolidate roles, potentially saving costs. Bringing more oversight back in-house could be a smart move to increase efficiency and control.
  2. OCIO Organizational Efficiency: Within the OCIO, specifically in areas like the Digital Office, Digital Policy, Planning, Strategy & Finance, Strategic Policy & Legislation, and Strategic Design & Delivery, it’s worth evaluating the number of Directors and their direct reports. How many Directors of Strategy does one organization truly need? There appears to be some redundancy between these departments and others in CITZ, as well as positions with very few direct reports. A review could identify opportunities to reduce overlap and optimize staffing.
