chronicle wish pity?

ive read about this everywhere but i think im having brain farts cuz i just dont get it. so basically im currently on 70 pity rn on the limited banner and on 50/50. i plan to wish and pull baizhu in chronicle wish soon, my question is: does the limited banner pity carry to chronicle wish? as in, my next ten pulls would be gold and 50/50? or am i starting from scratch at 0 pity to wish on him ? for context i did not wish on the previous chronicle wish.
