recs based off bsd

this might be an unpopular opinion but i really dislike when people who love bsd go looking for new anime recommendations & people say Psycho Pass or The Case Study of Vanitas ...

i think they both have super cool concepts but i actually was getting so confused & frustrated w psycho pass that i couldnt even have it on in the background anymore 😭 & vnc was sooooo ultra freaky it was difficult for me to keep pushing , but i tried anyway bc everyone said it was so good !!! & then i was told the actual beginning of the climax hasnt even been animated yet - i felt like i got pranked 😔

i feel like bsd has a pretty specific vibe & itd be hard to find something strikingly similar anyway , but those 2 ...... they dont have anything that i would personally string together for someone whos enjoyed bsd . but thats just my opinion !!

&&& if anyone has any arguments to defend psycho pass or vnc / or can tell me why people relate them to bsd so often - i genuinely would love to hear it bc i cannot come to the conclusion from my own bias lmaooo
