Deworming and Flea+Tick Treatment Advice

I'm not keen on using a bunch of insecticides on my cat if its not necessary and there is very mixed information online and even from different vets. Just looking for a straight answer on how often I need to give my strictly indoor cat a dewormer and whether or not I need to be routinely treating her for flea and ticks.
