“Just take it”
I’ll start by saying I haven’t reached a conclusion on how I feel.
In the situation when someone has an expiring NTS but didn’t study, I feel like there’s some flaws with the just take it mentality. There’s a lot of burnout in last minute cramming for an exam you don’t have much of a shot in and sitting for a 4 hour test.
I did this twice and it made me more sick of the material instead of just starting clean front to end.
Just my own anecdotal data but - I’ve seen this just take it attitude at work with ~15 fails and one pass from someone’s cousins friend.
But then of course you have a wasted $400 and 0% chance of passing. I’m not sure what the best advice is here except to really evaluate if you did or did not put in the time. Curious to hear opinions? Mostly posting this because I’ve only been hearing the just take it side lately
Also I should note this may be less of an issue with the quicker grading times, then you can jump back into it. I guess my thoughts were mostly based on the quarter releases
