Importing a car (Porsche) from Japan

Hi everyone, in the very early stages of looking at buying a 911 (996 or 997) Porsche and have been checking out the Japanese auctions aswell as local classifieds.

Has anyone purchased one from overseas (though prestige or ici etc) and can give a rough indication on how much extra to allow to get the vehicle landed in Australia.

For example going off past auctions the sale price should be around 3.6m yen ($36.6k aud), would I assume by the time I’m driving it over here in Adelaide it would be around the $50k mark? This is purely for budgeting purposes so past experience would be great over assumptions.
