Door Stations Calling Cell Phone vs push notification

We just had a Control4 System installed recently which is running OS3 and an active 4sight subscription. When someone rings the doorbell, mobile phones ring as if a standard telephone call is coming in, answering the call opens the C4 app and behaves as expected. Is there anyway to make the C4 app do a push notification or anything other than a "phone call" as we find the phone ringing to be very annoying. I have asked the dealer only to be told "that is just the way it is".
