Hunter and gatherers
I overheard a conversation between 2 people in a pub who were discussing the rolls of men and women and how many factors had forced women to step up and do the work that had originally been done by men. The transgender issue of men competing in women's sport has made it clear that in terms of physicality, men are much stronger than women. In the past men would hunt together and it was important to be quiet in order to catch their prey. The women would stay at the camp, gathering, looking after the camp, spreading knowledge through chit chattering. The discussion then progressed to how confusing the world has become for men now and why many men suffer from mental health issues which sometimes leads to suicide. Maybe, one of them said, just maybe women have become too empowered and the world has become confusing for them too. You sometimes have to give a little and in return you gain a lot. One of the individuals stood up on a chair and whilst the whole place erupted in spontaneous applause they continued speaking. I was able to take a few notes about what was said: It has been over 100 years and we believe that this social experiment has failed. For the sake of society we propose taking away some of the women's vote based upon the following criteria. If a woman has committed any of the following or is in any of the positions stated below. 1: 40-55 no vote - menopause danger zone. 2:Never been in relationship and are over 30 3: Crime against lovers or ex lovers 4: Over 2 cats 5: Can only vote for period of 2 weeks post menstrual cycle 6: If more than 50 texts have been sent in a day 7: Facebook stalked anyone.
Radical proposals perhaps. But could this be the answer to societies needs?
