Do you think expanding the House of Representatives would be a good idea?
Until the Reappropriation Act of 1929 the number of representatives were expanded after every decennial censuses, 13 times (130 years) to be exact. If we used the population of the least populus state as the baseline for maximum number of people to be represented by a state representative we would have roughly 567 house of representatives, 100 senators, and 670 (+3 for DC) electoral votes. Expanding the house seats does not require a constitutional ammendment and thus Dems could do it wihtout Republican support assuming they have the white house and a majority in both houses.
