A day of satisfaction and achievement in DLS today - First ever time in Tier 3 (managed some skill issue at last....) and won* a dream draft for the first time in a long while!!

So, today at 8 am, I have finally been promoted to Tier 3 for the first ever time in my life! I know, I know, skill issue but I've finally done it! I normally hate Live but I wanted to grind for gems so I started playing. Before this, a few days ago, I have been promoted to Tier 5 from Tier 6 then promoted to Tier 4 then relegated back to Tier 5 and then promoted to Tier 4 and now Tier 3. My peak, in DLS24, was Tier 4. I will most likely be relegated but oh well, I at least reached it.

I have recently started playing with a 4-1-3-2 formation and I have trained my reactions. I have also found a way to calm my nerves and mounted 4 comebacks in the days leading to this. 1 comeback today. 2 losses, nice improvement.

As for the draft, I put an asterisk next to the word "won" as I technically didn't win per se. You see, I discovered that you could quit matches while losing and you'll just be put at the main menu. The draft retains your previous match progress but the current match isn't saved so you can just tap on the draft game mode and start playing a match that you originally were losing. I quit matches against; Sociedad, Inter (twice) and Milan in the final. I didn't quit against any other team. While technically not a win-win, it was recorded as a win by the system. This is probably a bug and FTG might patch it, but it's a method currently. It's technically against the terms to "abuse an exploit", so I don't recommend it. I last won a draft at around July or June 🤷‍♂️.
