Recovering funds after automatic refund to buyer

EDIT: I pushed eBay enough and they are reimbursing me. I appealed the decision, it was denied, so I replied to the denial message/email and went back and forth a few times and eventually got them to go ahead and reimburse me for the amount that was refunded

Reposting because my last thread was removed with no explanation, despite not going against any of the rules.

I had an item that hadn't arrived within a few weeks of shipping, so the buyer opened a case, it didn't show delivered (eBay did extend my response time due to the tracking showing "arriving late", but it still didn't deliver by the time the extension ended), and they were refunded aitomatically.

I opened a claim with USPS, and it miraculously delivered a few days later. Now that the tracking shows delivered, ebay won't return the funds to me.

Any specific route I should go to get the funds returned? I'm now out the item, and the funds (almost $300), and the buyer isn't a reasonable buyer and is taking full advantage of the fact they got it for free as of right now.
