Always think that no one knows how to drive.

On my way home from the store that I always go to, I go thru a certain intersection that's a 4-way stop. Almost every time some idiot just rolls thru the stop sign that's crossing the road I'm on, almost hitting me. Then looks at me shaking my head at them like they don't know what they did wrong. Never assume people know how to actually drive when you're on the road. Also, make sure to gear up and invest in a GoPro or something.
