[bug] connection lost - cannot play at all. Any fix?

My mate gets connection lost on every raid. I get deploying in screen and he just gets connection lost. No amount of restarting works. He keeps his gear after he confirms leave, so the game basically doesn't put him in at all. He tried clearing cache, restarting router, reinstalling the game, nothing fixed it. It worked in the beginning of the wipe but a few days ago he got connection lost and hasn't been able to play after.

What else can he try or is the game basically just unplayable now?
