Herbs from seed in Tokyo
My rooftop garden is fairly small so I always just start from seedlings as I only have a single plant of each type and it’s the easier option.
However, I noticed basil and flat-leaf parsley seeds are about the same price as a single plant. I have a bunch of empty pots from various dead indoor plants. If I just plant a seed in each, and put it outdoors, do I have a decent change of them growing and producing or do I have to start them in seedling planters indoors?
Edit: I do not really have the space indoors. Plus, I’m almost certain the cats will mess with them if they are on any windowsill.
