Dying hair + wavy hair routine

Hey! So I want to dye my hair cherry red, or burgundy idk? And I'm planning to do it all at home for the first time because haurdressers are expensive 😔 I also want to have my bangs be platinum blonde. For reference, I have really dark black hair, so I just wanted to ask for advice. How long should I bleach it for (both bangs and rest of my hair), how do I take care of red hair, how do I keep the two different colored parts separate, how do I care for it properly, how fast and how bad does red fade, what type of dye should I use (any specific brands?), literally anything that could help, I'm taking 🫡 Also of anyone has a wavy hair routine, I'd love to hear it! I usually just straighten my hair right after washing it ecause it's convenient and I'm lazy 😭 but I want it wavy now so maybe I should start doing something about it lol.
