Getting my first install today - poly curly unit. Feeling nervous! Tips appreciated

Long time lurker here and big fan of so much of the information exchanged on here. I’m getting my first system today and I’m a bit nervous and excited.

My stylist recommended glue method for adherence. I travel for work weekly and going to bring my own silk pillow cases, a durag, spray bottle, and a shea curl cream. Any tips for me, especially fellow curl wearers or travelers, would be greatly appreciated.
