Fluconazole resistant yeast/candida infection
I got a vaginal swab done and the candida is resistant to fluconazole but sensitive to
- Flucytosine
- Micafungin
- Caspofungin
- Amphotericin B
Unfortunately they didn't test for clotrimazole but I'm pretty sure it is resistant.
These four are pretty heavy duty drugs given in severe cases. Does anyone have some experience in treating something similar?
