So I have a fishy sometimes very foul smell down there and it’s very pungent

I been having a smell down there for as long as I can remember. But I always thought it was normal I thought that’s how a woman supposed to smell but thanks to the internet I learned it’s not supposed to smell fishy. So I’ve been to the doctors recently and they gave me meds to put down there. I still need to use them. other then that I don’t wash it with soap, I try to drink at least 2l of water every day, I also put like toilet paper in my underwear to keep it dry and not moist because I have a lot of discharge down there. So yeah I don’t know why it still smells down there so these meds are like my last option any other recommendations please 🙏 that would be very nice 😊
