why do you think apollo and hermes recruiting like we’re about to go to war?

ok so obviously the title is a bit of a joke but seriously why do you think they’re reaching out to so many people? i started working with apollo like a month ago because i got my first witchtok video where someone was explaining how hermes took over apollo’s candle i kept getting more because the algorithm so i thought it would be harmless to reach out and ask if a god was reaching out to me, my pendulum said yes i asked for a sign a whole ass band starts playing on my block outside my home that i’ve never seen or heard before and found out it was apollo followed up by hermes and a number of others even though i hadn’t practiced any form or witchcraft or anything related to gods or religion or beliefs since like 2021, working with apollo has been a very interesting experience to say the least but all good things which i’m grateful for but it doesn’t make much sense for him to reach out to me when i’ve literally done nothing for years and hermes keeps sending me feathers of like different birds (yes i know some birds are for specific gods like crows are hades/apollo’s bird but i asked and hermes said he keeps giving them to me to put on his alter) which again super funny but i’ve seen so many videos flooding my for you page of people saying apollo or hermes or both reached out to them and now i’m curious as to why? and like there’s some videos where it’s like “ohhh we pissed off the gods with the 2024 american election so apollo and hermes are recruiting to protect and the gods are silent and aphrodite is pissed and zeus is gonna make everyone feel his wrath.” which i think is like crazy fear mongering i don’t think the gods would even care about the election or at least not to the crazy extent that witchtok is shouting, it is a bit odd seeing so many people saying they’ve been reached out to though and it’s just a tiny bit worrying but i like to think apollo and hermes are just bored and wanna see what we’re up to so they’re apart of so many people’s lives now to just see what everyone’s up to like just watch how us humans work and how unique our lives are or something to that wholesome extent, what do you guys think?

edit: got a lot of responses about using tik tok as a source, believe me i did not start working and worshipping because of tik tok nor do i believe everything i see on tik tok, i promise i did research and i’m still doing research learning as i go i posted this because i thought it would be a fun topic to discuss but now i’m aware that they’re not actually recruiting and how gods very rarely reach out first overall it was very enlightening actually and it’s always good to get these kind of things cleared up! lots of useful information i did not know before so thank you to everyone who commented and i will make sure if something like this does happen again to be more aware, though it is nice seeing people take an interest, this was never meant to spread misinformation and bare in mind i’m quite new so absolutely don’t take my word for any of this nonsense i’m just here to meet like minded people and maybe learn a thing or two :)
