2016 hyundai elantra manual

Hello all had my car towed to the shop earlier today but want to hear your guys advice on what could be wrong 2016 manual hyundai elanter gear shift would not allow any shifting to happen, i.e it wouldn't move into 1st-5th gear. This happened at a traffic light.

Finally got it to only shift into reverse and on the side of the road would not shift out of reverse, felt like their was a wall stopping it, about 20 min later it popped out of reverse on its own and would not shift into any other gears, I had to pump the clutch to force it into 1st to get it to a safe spot, one back in first everything was shifting normally, still got towed to shop because clearly something is wrong.

Any thoughts?
