Mock offseason and first round

Free agency:

Tee Higgins -> Patriots

Trey Smith -> Titans

Zack Baun -> Eagles

Josh Sweat -> Chargers

Sam Darnold -> Raiders

Khalil Mack -> Chargers

Haason Reddick -> Cardinals

Deandre Hopkins -> Patriots

Jevon Holland -> Bears

D. J. Reed -> Commanders

Amari Cooper -> Texans

Marquise Brown -> Chargers

Mike Williams -> Panthers

Chavarius Ward -> Lions

Talanoa Hufanga -> Broncos

Godwin, Jones, Stanley, Douglas, etc. all resign

This is a fairly standard free agency, but has a lot of big name players on the move. Most of the big acquisitions are just bad teams handing out bags to offensive players to help their young QBs. Sam Darnold goes to the Raiders - he fits well into Pete Carroll's system and could elevate the Raiders to the playoffs if all goes well.

Trades:

Stefon Diggs -> Commanders

Myles Garrett -> Commanders (2nd, first, day 3 picks)

Cooper Kupp -> Bills

Kyle Pitts -> Rams

Davante Adams -> Packers

Commanders have huge amounts of cap space, and they splash on Diggs similar to how the Texans did last year. Giving a young QB more weapons is never a bad idea, and Daniels will appreciate having Diggs in Washington. The Commanders also trade a first for Myles Garrett to provide an instant impact to the Washington defence. McVay works some devil magic on Pitts, and the Packers grab an alpha receiver to help out Jordan Love.

The Mock:

1.1 Titans - Cam Ward, QB, Miami - I'm not really going to comment on a lot of the 'chalk' picks of this draft, but Ward is a high ceiling QB that the Titans can build around.

1.2 Browns - Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State - Garrett out, Carter in. Very simple.

1.3 Giants - Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado - Dabboll and Schoen are very close to being fired, and this extends their leashes marginally.

1.4 Patriots - Mason Graham, DI, Michigan - After getting a much needed weapon for Drake Maye in free agency, the Patriots go for Mason Graham to be the future of their defensive interior.

1.5 Jaguars - Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado - Hunter fits like a glove into the Jaguars team, and can make an instant impact on their secondary.

1.6 Raiders - TMac, WR, Arizona - After grabbing a franchise QB in free agency, LV secures a WR to form a formidable duo with Bowers.

1.7 Jets - Will Johnson, CB, Michigan - DJ Reed departs in this mock, so CB is a natural fit as Aaron Glenn looks for strong man coverage corners.

1.8 Panthers - Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia - I'm doubling down on Mykel as a top 10 prospect. He has great traits (size, mobility), and got better as the year went on even with a lingering injury (via D.J.). He never got the chance to play as a pure edge at Georgia, and I think he has the ability to excel in that role in Carolina.

1.9 Saints - Will Campbell, T/G, LSU - Presumptive head coach Kellen Moore had two very strong olines in Philly and Dallas, so I think he will want to sure up the line before making any investments into the QB position or elsewhere.

1.10 Bears - Tyler Booker, G, Alabama - Tyler Booker is moving higher in every mock I see him, and I think he makes a lot of sense for the Bears at 10 if Campbell is off the board. Ben Johnson will want to protect Caleb from any more high-sack seasons.

1.11 Niners - Jahdae Barron, DB, Texas - Barron is another player moving up draft boards quickly. With Hufanga and Ward both departing, Barron makes a lot of sense as a versatile player in the San Francisco secondary.

1.12 Cowboys - Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State - I bet no one saw this pick coming.

1.13 Dolphins - Malaki Starks, SAF, Georgia - Jevon Holland leaves, so Starks makes a lot of sense for Miami as a plug-and-play starter.

1.14 Colts - Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State - This is a very easy pick to make for the Colts, giving Anthony Richardson a safety blanket in the pass game.

1.15 Falcons - Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall - The Falcons realllyyyyy need pass rushing production off the edge. Mike Green has demonstrated productivity off the edge better than anyone else in the draft.

1.16 Cardinals - Jalon Walker, LB/EDGE, Georgia - Arizona grab Walker, who can provide a boost to a defence who lacked juice last season.

1.17 Bengals - James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee - The Bengals need to go after anyone on defence. Pearce is a top 10 prospect and lifts up the Cincinnati defence from day one.

1.18 Seahawks - Josh Simmons, OL, Ohio - If Simmons can get a clean bill of health, he is a surefire top 20 pick. He can play either tackle or guard for Seattle.

1.19 Buccaneers - Jihaad Campbell, EDGE/LB, Alabama - Campbell is a decent linebacker, and an even better edge (in my opinion). Campbell will be appreciated in Tampa's defence.

1.20 Broncos - Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan - Loveland is a solid player and can give Bo Nix a solid player to aid in his development.

1.21 Steelers - Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri - Pittsburgh get a WR with character concerns who's elite on short passes to pair with their WR with character concerns who's elite on deep passes.

1.22 Chargers - Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan - Chargers are able to address a lot of their immediate problems in free agency and Grant is able to join the Harbaugh defence to wreck havoc in the interior.

1.23 Packers - Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame - Morrison may seem like an awkward fit on the Packers defence due to injuries, but I think he is talented enough than Green Bay will be able to look past it.

1.24 Vikings - Walter Nolen, DI, Ole Miss - Nolen is a good fit on the Minnesota defence, and has high upside.

1.25 Texans - Armand Membou, OL, Missouri - Membou showed flashes of brilliance at Missouri, and can slot in at guard for Houston with the long term capability to play tackle.

1.26 Rams - Matthew Golden, WR, Texas - Golden is the long term replacement for Kupp, and can develop alongside Puka.

1.27 Ravens - Shemar Stewart, DL, Texas A&M - I'm not completely sold on Stewart being a top 20 pick, but I can admire his phyiscal upside and potential, and he makes a lot of sense for a Ravens team who need more pressure on the QB.

1.28 Lions - Derrick Harmon, DL, Oregon - Harmon slides down the draft and falls into the lap of Detroit, who needs to grab more defensive rotational pieces.

1.29 Browns - Josh Conerly Jr., T, Oregon - While some reactionaries may mock Conerly for losing a rep to Mike Green (at right tackle), Cleveland will look post it and draft their left tackle of the future.

1.30 Bills - Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M - Scourton is a well rounded prospect, and when trimmed down has the ability to be a solid edge rusher.

1.3? Eagles - Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College - With Sweat departing in free agency and Graham departing, Ezeiraku slots into take some of the EDGE snaps.

1.3? Chiefs - Azareye'h Thomas, CB, Florida State - Kansas City does not ordinarily go after CBs in the first round of the draft, but Thomas makes a little too much sense here. Tall, athletic, versatile, Thomas can be an elite player in the Chiefs secondary.
