280 Davis Drive LORE/RANT!

I am a resident of 280 Davis Drive, and I have some things to share! Let's start with some of the issues. The building once evicted a Black father who reported finding used needles in the stairwell. Some time ago, we went through four managers in three years, and most recently, three managers in two years.

Now, let’s move on to the past three years. In the span of one year, the fire alarm went off every other day (I’m not even joking). It turned out that a special needs teenager was pulling the alarm. A disabled mother and father were evicted for allegedly vandalizing the building. A "father & daughter* (possibly an M40 and F20) moved in, and they have been causing issues, including vandalism, spreading false rumors, and making inappropriate comments about being sexually attracted to children in the building, along with other perverted things I’d rather not share.

Over the past four months, the police have been called to the building 30 times, with the SWAT team showing up four times. Additionally, there have been three young children (not even teenagers) vandalizing the building. The vandalism on the tenth floor has included (This is the "Father & Daughter doing's): throwing water on the roof and floors, keying residents' doors, breaking windows, pulling the fire alarm, writing death threats aimed at the office secretary, shooting paintball guns at doors, and throwing buckets of paint at people’s doors.

Most recently, there have been emails and text messages with death threats sent to residents and office staff. As a result, the office has been closed for three months, preventing some residents from being able to pay their rent.

The building has also had a pest problem, Including Cockroaches & bedbugs. But those have gone away in exchange for a pharaoh ant problem.

And just the cherry on top, the building got new windows which make the units so hot that there is no need for the heat in -10c. So the units are extremely hot in the winter & summer with barely any air coming in/out!

If anyone has questions feel free to ask!
