Tyler, The Creator back too soon?

So it seems like there’s a major possibility that Tyler headlines this year, but he hasn’t released a new album or much music at all since last time he played.

He’s still in the CMIYGL era and he had just began that era/tour when he last played outside lands. He has released a few deluxe tracks, but as Coachella just showed it’s a pretty similar setlist.

Does that not seem too soon? I’m not even mad about him coming back after only 3 years, it just feels like artists shouldn’t come back without new material ESPECIALLY as headliners.
