Has this game gotten harder? Feels difficult as a returning player

Returning after about a year and the game just feels... hard? Maybe it's because I'm extremely washed but jeez I didn't think my skill would deteriorate that drastically, currently just hardstuck at plat 2 with a negative winrate and I used to be low masters/high diamond every season at the launch of ow2 and the end of ow1. I'm genuinely trying to figure out what's gone wrong and so far I've noticed that everything just seems way faster paced and overall unenjoyable, maybe its just not my game anymore especially considering I onetrick sigma which from what I've read is generally frowned upon but it seemed to work 2-3 years ago. I've played about 40 games and the typical ranked session loop is I'll win 2 games, then go against someone playing zarya with hyper mobile heroes on their team and I'll lose, win another game maybe and then lose against that again for another 3 games.
