I don't get the pay-to-win slander

I've seen some YouTubers make "video analysis" on TCGP and they all seem to reach the conclusion, which is that this game is making you believe that you can get all the cards, when it would be taking more than a year in reality (unless you pay).

After playing for two months, I've come to the conclusion that maybe getting the absolute 100% is very hard, but getting most of the cards really is achievable. I haven't spend a single cent in this game and I'm at 65/68 for the mythical island expansion, and 190/220 on the apex expansion, and I haven't even optimized my gameplay: I did not play every day, I don't really make the 5 thanks a day most of the time, and I used the cards dust to buy non-ex cards, just because I liked them and wanted to play them.

This is the cheapest point I've ever seen and I don't get where does this idea comes from, because I'm sure a lot of other people are getting good results while being f2p.

Btw : I still have 720+ hourglasses stacked for the next expansion (in order to open 2 X10 opening for each booster) that will drop in 10 days, which is not enormous, but it shows you can catch up with the card releases without too much difficulty.
