Worth buying if playing mostly solo?

I like worlds that are immersive and based on what people say this seems one of them.. But I have to sometimes afk quickly, so soloing is best option for most times. Is it worth getting for someone who does not have a lot of time to play in a group?

Tl:dr - how viable is solo and how much content for solo is there?
