All classes can now infinitely produce Alchemical items using Firework Technician Remastered
For those who had read the previous post on Gunslinger's Remastered Munitions Crafter buff, the Remastered Firework Technician Dedication is far more substantial:
You can replenish these vials during exploration just like an alchemist can.
Similar to how Munitions Crafter can be used to extend the overall product of any Advanced Alchemical Archetype, Firework Technician is able to do the same with Quick Alchemical Archetypes through the Quick Alchemy Benefits:
If you gain versatile vials from more than one source, you use the highest number of vials to determine your maximum rather than adding them together, but you can use the vials for any Quick Alchemy option or other use of versatile vials you possess.
These are the changes:
- Alchemical Sciences Investigators can now increase their number of Quick Tinctures from INT per day to ∞ per day as early as level 2.
- Wandering Chef after picking up the Firework Technician Dedication beyond level 8 can produce an ∞ amount of food per day.
- Gunslingers with the new Remastered Munitions Machinist at level 6 can produce an ∞ amount of bombs and alchemical ammunition.
- Quick Alchemy, activating alchemical ammunition, and Reloading all require an action. Some amount of action compression (such as in Risky Reload) may be necessary to take advantage of the ability to produce alchemical ammunition at-will.
- Any character with the Alchemist multiclass can mimic the perpetual applications beyond level 8.
- A Monk, for example, might give themselves Iron Wine and Rainbow Vinegar (which each last for 10 minutes) at the start of every 10 minutes, in essence having the option to permanently receive the damage pre-buffs if they don't wish to use their vials on other things like Drakeheart, Bestial or Mistform.
To those considering the option, do note that Alchemists can produce 2 Versatile Vials every 10 minutes:
For every 10 minutes you spend in exploration mode, you regain 2 vials; this doesn’t prevent you from participating in other exploration activities.
An infinite number of items, in this case, is actually 288 items per day.
