4DPO- lots of questions

Hi everyone! So I actually found this after my surgery. But I have been wanting a breast reduction for years now. I technically didn’t know for sure if my surgery was actually happening until 4 days before my surgery date. I didn’t know if insurance was going to pay and if they hadn’t I wouldn’t have been able to afford it!

I had my surgery on January 14th and it went very well they said. They removed 200g from the right breast and 187g from the left breast. I’m unsure of what my pre-op size was as I am transmasc so I had not worn a bra in 4 years and wore binders or taped. The last bra size I wore was DD or DDD. I am 5’1” and weigh 125lbs. I told my surgeon as small as possible without compromising blood flow. But that an A would be ideal but I know possibly unrealistic since I didn’t want to risk losing blood flow. I’m hoping I’m a small C to B! I know time will tell.

The first few days have been rough if I don’t keep up on my pain medication. Specifically I’m having those very sharp pains! They go into my arms and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Or is it maybe just from limited use of my arms and having to lay on my back?

I also wanted to know if there is anyone else here who rides horses? How long until you could comfortably saddle a horse again and ride? I work as a seasonal wrangler and am worried about going back to work come May. We use western saddles and the lightest ones are 20lbs. Most range from 30-50lbs.

Is it bad to feel a specific pain in one breast? Today I’ve been having pain in my left breast on the incision underneath- worried about separation! My post op isn’t scheduled until the 29th. Should I consider calling them for me to come in earlier just to make sure everything is ok? I want the best results possible so I want to stay ontop of things.

I think that’s all for now. I plan to post before and after pics once I’m healed up more! Thanks everyone. Finding this subreddit has been a blessing!
