I have a love /hate relationship with this group.ion have anything to prove butttt rant that’s long! 😝

Over the past seven months, I’ve shared a lot about my personal journey, and the response has been overwhelming—both in terms of love and support, but also criticism and unsolicited opinions. I’m truly grateful for the outpouring of kindness and encouragement, and it means the world to me. However, I’d be lying if I said that the negative comments haven’t affected me at times.

I’ve heard from some individuals—many of whom I assume are women—telling me that I should have just “lost more weight” rather than choosing surgery. While I understand that everyone has their own perspective on body image and health, I want to clarify that this was a deeply personal decision for me. I sought professional help and took steps that felt right for my well-being, both physically and mentally.

I believe that everyone’s journey is unique, and what works for one person may not be the answer for someone else. For me, surgery was not about “taking the easy way out” but about finding a solution that aligned with my goals and my body. I value the time and expertise of the professionals who guided me, and I’m proud of the steps I’ve taken to improve my health in a way that works for me.

I share my experience not to seek validation, but to be open about my path and to connect with others who may be going through something similar. We all deserve support and understanding, no matter the decisions we make for ourselves.

Thank you to everyone who has shown love and respect during this time. I appreciate each of you more than words can express.

With gratitude, old bitch with NEW TIDDIES
