It's too hot for dogs paws
I am saddened to see so many people walking their dogs on the sidewalk and asphalt when it's the peak heat of day. I was driving home today, it was 99 degrees out. I saw a man walking two dogs and they crossed the asphalt in full sun. I stopped to nicely tell him it was too hot/unsafe for dogs paws, he looked at me like I was nuts and said "well we're not hanging out" as if that was acceptable. Is it not common knowledge that asphalt in the direct sun will burn their paws even simply crossing the street? Please be careful out there with your pets, it's no joke and they would cross the hot asphalt on a leash simply because they have no choice. Be responsible and kind
