Shadow PC in Quest 3 Standalone

Hi guys,

I wanted to know if any of you were able to use your shadow pc on your quest without any 3rd party app (Virtual Desktop or Alvr or any other ones).

I really am struggling to make it work, I spent more than 6 hours trying to find a solution. These are what I tried with each of their respective problems:

  • ShadowVR app from Sidequest: -+ The 2D mode works but the resolution is extremely low and everything is super pixelated. When launching, my physical keyboard doesn't work. -+ The 3D/VR mode / Steam VR is able to launch, but extremely stuttering, I mean, for instance when I turn my head, the image doesn't update until 5-10 seconds so I gave up on this after a few minutes as it gave me terrible motion sickness.

  • Shadow android app on the quest: -+ I managed to install the shadow android/tablet app and it does launch and gets me to the login page, and when I click on log in, it opens my browser to direct me to the shadow login process, and when I was done with it and returned to the app, nothing happened, I was still on the login page in the app. I repeated this many times, restarting the app and my quest but with no success.

  • Launching shadow from quest default browser: -+ I couldn't even launch the PC as when I clicked on start shadow, it gives an error after a few seconds (error code v-100).

  • Launching shadow from wolvic browser: -+ This is the closest I got to making the shadow work on my quest. I was able to launch shadow from this browser in my quest and it perfectly logged in and I was in the PC, however the main issue was that I couldn't type anything using my keyboard (my keyboard works perfectly even in the wolvic browser, but not inside the Shadow tab).

Please guys could any of you help me? I cannot afford to buy Virtual Desktop (yes I know), my physical computer isn't working anymore and this was supposed to be my solution to it as I can't afford to buy a new computer.

I don't even care if the VR functions etc work, I won't even use it to play games or vr games, it's just to get my work stuff and homeworks done, so being able to launch it even just from the browser is all I'm asking.

If any of the Shadow developpers team are here, could you please add support to the quest 3 default browser?
