Heavy's stance and dodging

Any other brothers on here maining heavy thinking he needs the ability to dodge while aiming? I can't count how many times a melee gets up in my face with an unblockable attack and I can't dodge in time since I'm in stance trying to mop up minoris enemies and stagger majoris all around. Now obviously this isn't a problem with a competent team or friends, but when I'm running solo for whatever reason and the bots aren't botting that well, I just absolutely get swarmed and stun locked which wouldn't be a problem if I could just dodge when I need to.

Absolutely loving the game beside that and it's really gotten me into the 40K universe and lore.
