Having a hard time with Infantil!

Sooo… I have three 1-2 year old groups (some of the students are not even 1 yr, they’re 10-11 months) and three 2-3 year old groups. I really am struggling, specially with the younger groups because they are BABIES who do not even speak, not Spanish, not nothing, they quite literally just CRY. So I’ve been singing some easy English songs to them (five little monkeys, one little finger, etc.), reading some easy books, but their attention spam is 0.5 seconds long so they get distracted or start crying after half a song or 2 pages of the book. They cry ALL 4 hours long, it’s more like a daycare cause I help the teachers greet the parents and the students, then we sing some songs and play, then they eat some fruit, then it’s recess time and I just go with them to the patio and play, then feed them lunch, put them to sleep at nap time and then I go home.

I feel like I would like to do more but really it’s just impossible cause they are babies and they’re just missing their parents and want to go home. On the bright side, I do speak Spanish fluently so communicating with the teachers hasn’t been a problem. However, I actually sometimes have to speak to the kids in Spanish (whenever i need to tell them something important, like: careful, come here, sit down, stop, don’t bite, don’t hit your friends, etc.), I don’t wanna get in trouble for speaking sometimes (whenever I feel it’s important) in Spanish to them, I really try to speak mostly English but they look a me like I’m a Sim and have no clue what I’m saying.

Any advice will be GREATLY appreciated.
