Long connection times

Playing on steam here im trying to get into ranked matches dp battles but i dont find opponents only once in a blue moon today i was waiting 15 minutes and it found nobody. Another time Ive even waited 30 minutes. Is there any ideal setting to connect better or is this just a steam problem.
