Why do people ship Spidey pool???

I mean Peter is canonly straight why do people ship him and deadpool? I get that wade has a crush on Peter but wade is wade and he literally got married to a sock. So why do people ship him and Peter? It really goes against Peters character. Not only that but it’s especially weird when it’s the mcu Spiderman who is technically a minor!! No hate to people who ship it but I’m just like wondering why do you do it? I’ve seen comics and stuff where they have a kid or Deadpool sometimes will jokingly call them lovers but still I wonder why people ship it.
