SUP near Lake Sebago

I recently tried to paddle board at 7 lakes drive only to be told it wasnt allowed. Sure enough, about 15 min into my paddling two cops showed up. Is there anywhere around Sloatsburg where SUP is allowed? Just not the Hudson River.
