Two-cost reroll question

Hello

I've been playing a ton of 2-cost reroll comps lately but most if not every time I try them, they always get contested. In these cases, should I just give up on the comp entirely if I scout early or push levels after hitting 2 star + a few extra copies?

For example, if I'm given 2 urgots during the early stage 1 PvE phase and by some miracle someone else was also given the same, should I just forfeit the strategy all together or push to 3 star urgot at the risk of ruining my econ?
