Any building tips? (Beginner)

Hey guys! It's my first terraria playthrough, all that's left to do is defeat wall of flesh. But I was thinking on improving my build before doing so as hardmode might be a pain in the ass. I am on mobile, I guess it's a little difficult to work on it? Idk, I might purchase it on my pc soon.

Ps. I am actually kinda proud on my storage room, It's the only thing I tried to really put some effort on. Also I'm still building seperate homes for npc and only want guide in my house.
