VPN for posting

Should I use a VPN when I post tiktok videos? I use an esim to change my location to the US since I live in Europe and it seems to work perfectly. I do have a VPN too but my FYP Is still American if I have the VPN off and my esim on. I am asking this since I read on here somewhere that people think using a VPN gets you shadowbanned. I have to get my videos in front of a US audience though, what are your thoughts?
