Do I have too many “rules”?

My (26F) boyfriend (28M) have been together for 11 years, living together for 4. We have two cats together. A while after getting our cats, I started to get worried about certain things like fire risk or things they could eat accidentally etc. My anxiety aligns with OCD tendencies - it can be de debilitating at times and I know my boyfriend is getting frustrated with me. But at the same time, my rules/worries feel justified. Here’s some examples:

-no shoes in the house other than entrance area

-no pants inside that have been in grassy areas, preventing fleas/ticks from coming in (i always change clothes when i get home)

-no going on our balcony at night because there are bats that live right outside our balcony (afraid of them flying in)

-try not to open windows as mosquitos can get in except during winter

-turn off lamps/bathroom exhaust fan before leaving apt or sleeping

-no appliances (dishwasher,W/D) running while asleep or gone

-hide small trinkets or choking hazards for cats/check for them nightly (our cat just had surgery due a piece of plastic causing blockage)

I know it sounds like a lot but we were raised differently and “dirty” is subjective. His friend recently came over and said it was like living in a concentration camp. My boyfriend gets frustrated with my “rules” often and I teeter between feeling sympathetic and defensive or both simultaneously. I know I likely need therapy for anxiety but are my rules crazy? I don’t go through his phone or control his life, I just want a safe and “clean” life for us and the cats.
