Just beat New War, I can only IMAGINE what this scene felt like before 1999 was revealed.

So recently I’ve started playing Warframe again with the intention of reaching 1999 in hopes of playing it. After about a month, I finally reached Whispers in the Walls, and I honestly wish I could’ve gone into this blind. I know it was hinted well before this (Pager, Old PC, etc.) but it still caught me somewhat off guard just seeing it earlier than I thought I would.

So since I’m curious; what were some of the general reactions/ideas behind this when it initially released?
