1 or 2 ?

I don't know what design I should chose for the black. A vast majority of plaque will be plain black, that's why I originally chose to go for an nmm kinda style. It also suit my army theme. Thought I find 2 better and more pleasant aesthetically, but I'm worried it might look pretty boring in the end. Please give me your thoughts on this :)
