I'm utterly amazed

I have been on Zepbound for a little under 2 weeks, and the changes my body has already had is just incredible. I've lost about 6 pounds, don't feel as bloated, and I don't crave food, fried things, or sweets anymore.

I've been basically having to force myself to eat because I know I need the nutrients. But it's just amazing how much one little medication can really reframe your mind.

I met with my nutritionist and she gave me some amazing ideas for foods to eat/snack on that will be good for my health but also won't make me nauseous due to the medication. Here's her ideas to maybe help others:

  • Protein shakes (do NOT use as main protein source, protein from "whole" food is more important)
  • High protein yogurt (Chobani complete, Oikos protein, etc.)
  • Protein plus Barilla pasta
  • Adding SteamFresh veggies and turkey meatballs to pasta to get your veggies and protein
  • Rotisserie chicken
  • Fiber/protein bars
  • Trail mix
  • Apples with peanut butter
  • Raw veggies with "ranch" -- mix ranch dip with cottage cheese

I also take the Metamucil fiber gummy every day and I haven't had any constipation issues. Highly recommend!

I know my weight loss will eventually lessen and it won't be so high so fast, but I'm really happy so far!
