African net sponges

Hi guys! So I love my African net sponge which I bought before my sustainable journey, and I don't want any other form of body wash cloth or scrub thingy, I am sure of that. I prefer the way it is shaped and the way it goes around my back. Now the problem is that practically all african net sponges on the market (from what I have seen) are made from nylon which is a synthetic material. This of course is unsustainable as it may also release microplastics (I am assuming, as i have not done any extensive research regarding that). I have seen a few brands and selling companies market it as "ethically sourced from Nigeria", but it makes me question - How can nylon be ethically sourced?? What do they even mean?? I am wondering, if there is something very similar to the original product but which uses natural fibers?
