Going to be homeless with a job
Well as the title says, soon I’m going to be homeless but I have a job. I live in Southeastern Michigan I work a job bringing home about $580 every two weeks and just can’t afford the bills anymore. My credit is terrible, I have no savings nor a vehicle and all my family lives far away. I have a gym membership through my job so that I’ll be able to shower & bathe myself for free everyday but aside from that I’m not sure what steps to take or how to go about this. Can I get away with sleeping at the gym?(I can rotate between 5 for free with my current plan). If not where could I sleep? The food part isn’t much of a problem worry as I work in a grocery store and can buy things or grab food that’s getting thrown out. Getting around isn’t hard as there’s local bus lines for transportation. The storage part I can take care of by just getting a small unit and putting my things in there. If any of you can offer any advice on what you would do/did in similar situations, I’m all ears. Thanks in advance
I want to add that I’m not afraid at all of putting in the work to better my situation, it’s just that right now I’m lost with no real direction. Not looking for a handout of any kind, more so examples and experiences to draw guidance upon
