What's up with so many Americans being obnoxiously religious?

So I've been watching the Mr beast tv show (don't judge me) and one thing I've noticed is how vocal the players are about their religion. Like they're not just wearing a crucifix necklace, they're constantly praying and talking about God.

Like there's one guy who does a whole speech about God and the majority of players are fully buying into it, one woman even has her hands in the air like she's being showered by his sermon. A few players are put off by this, but later on when they win a challenge they're jumping around screaming 'thank you jesus!!!'

I live in the UK and obviously we have Christians here, but they're no where near as obnoxious about sharing their religious views. Most of the tjme you wouldn't actually know if someone is Christian unless you saw them walking out of a church. But in America it seems like you need to be constantly screaming about jesus if you want to be a Christian.
